The FDA “has in its hands a wealth of scientific data showing a distinct germ-killing benefit of antibacterial soaps containing triclosan. Agencies in the U.S. and abroad have affirmed the safety and effectiveness of triclosan for use in a variety of consumer products,” says Dr. Paul DeLeo, ACI Senior Director of Environmental Safety.
